DESCRIPTION
ArthroCare ENT Coblator II Surgery SystemThe ArthroCare ENT Coblator II surgery system brings a new level of control and functionality to otolaryngology. Using patented Coblation technology, the ArthroCare ENT system removes tissue via molecular disintegration. For tissue coagulation, the adjustable coagulation with its bipolar delivery of thermal energy provides localized therapy quickly and effectively.
The ArthroCare ENT Coblator® II Surgery System is designed for ablation, resection, and coagulation of soft tissue and hemostasis of blood vessels in otorhinolaryngology (ENT) surgery. Using patented Coblation® technology, the system dissolves tissue at the molecular level in a highly-controlled manner with minimal thermal effect on surrounding tissue. In addition to a wide selection of Plasma Wands designed for specific ENT surgical applications, the complete system is composed of a Coblator II controller, a flow control valve unit and cable, a foot control unit, and a hospital-grade power cord.

Patient had negative pressure dressing on an open wound on his sacrum and ischial area. This was applied in spring 2012. Two days later the dressing was to be changed. The negative pressure machine showed a good pressure at 125 mm/hg. When the patient was turned the dressing was soaked and partially open. The machine never alarmed when it was obvious that there was no pressure in the system. manufacturer response for wound vac system, renasys ez plus negative pressure wound therapy system (per site reporter). Magnavox mwr10d6 manual download. there were actually 5 device failures (all will be reported). The first 4 were attributed to the cannister. The 5th was attributed to the foam packing material.
